Does installing a Heat Pump increase the spa amp requirements?
You should not need any extra power or amperage if you install a heat pump to heat your spa. The only time it is required, is if the swim spa has 4 swim jets and a sound system such as our Vortex™ Swim Spa Extreme models. For all electrical installations please consult with a qualified electrician.
