Why are my jets not working properly?
Most jet issues happen to massage jets and it usually occurs when the jets stop rotating. On jets with bearings the internal part of the jet and bearings can even come out into the spa.
This is usually caused by poor chemical use including water being out of balance or old water being used. Poor water balance or improper chemical use can eat away at the plastic jet surface and cause it to degrade and ultimately fail.
Spa jet failure can be avoided by draining and refilling your spa with new water every 3-4 months, and by making sure your keep your water in balance using quality spa chemicals designed for spas.
