How to Replace or Open the Aromatherapy Canister in Vortex® Spas

Step 1: Prepare the new canister

  1. Unscrew and remove the cap from the new canister. The cap colour may vary depending on your spa model.

  2. Take off the clear plastic cap underneath.

  3. Screw the cap back on.

  4. Now the canister is ready to install.

Step 2: Remove the old canister

  1. Look for the aromatherapy chamber on the top side of your spa. 

  2. Unscrew the cap on your (turn anti-clockwise).

  3. Set the cap aside.

  4. Pull out the old aromatherapy canister.

Step 3: Install the new canister

  1. Insert the new canister into the chamber.

  2. Screw it in clockwise until it’s snug.

  3. Reattach the cap, also screwing it in clockwise.

Step 4: Use the canister

  • Turn the cap anti-clockwise to turn off the aromatherapy.

  • Turn it clockwise to turn it on.
    Note: This only works when the air blower is on.
