Tighten Spring System on Vortex™ Pergola for Zip Track Blinds

How to tighten the spring system on a Vortex™ Pergola for a zip track blind that won't retract

If the spring system on a Vortex™ Pergola for a zip track blind won't retract, simply follow these troubleshooting steps: 

Step 1: Remove the top box head unit.

Step 2:  Use a screwdriver to take out the blind.


Step 3:  Gently release the screwdriver to reduce the spring tension.


Step 4:  Turn the spring system clockwise to pre-tighten it.


Step 5:  Reattach the blind using the screwdriver.
