Product Update Notice | EcoCube Tech Install Kit Instructions – First Shipment
Due to stock not being available from the supplier, the first shipment of EcoCube™ connection kits were shipped without an SV™ Controller heater union or SV Mini™ heater union. Technicians should use the existing heater unions in the spa to complete the installation.
Important notes:
- These instructions are only for Circulation Pump to SV controller kits and Circulation Pump to SV Mini kits and should be used along with the relevant standard EcoCube™ installation instructions.
- This only applies to the first delivery of EcoCube™ Tech Install Kits.
How to install EcoCube™ without an SV™ Controller heater union or SV Mini™ heater union
Step 1. Cut the 40mm pipe, located between the circulation pump and the heater. Choose the best location for the cut from the options detailed in the image below.
Step 2. Use a 40mm coupling joiner (not supplied) to connect this 40mm pipe to “A” (40/32mm reducer with 32mm hose attached). Please see the image below.
Step 3. The 32mm hose can now exit the spa and connect to the EcoCube™ heat pump.
Step 4. Remove the union from the circulation pump and replace it with “B” circulation pump union with a 32mm hose attached). Please see the image below.
Step 5. The 32mm hose can now exit the spa and connect to the EcoCube™ heat pump
Step 6. Follow all other instructions as per the relevant standard instructions.
