What is the difference between a jet and a jet body?

Jets are made from 2 pieces, the jet face/back and jet body. The jet face is the part of the jet where water flows through and is normally powered by a spa boost pump.

The jet body is the part the jet sits inside, the body has a seal around the outside so water cannot leak to the underside of the spa.
